NEED FOR CO-OPERATION. SAMOAN ADMINISTRATION. By Telescrapli-Frede Association-Copyright. Australian n.nd X.Z. Cable Association. (Received October 11, 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY . ■October 14. HHie “ Herald ” publishes an interview with Mr Tenant, a member of tho Samoan Legislative Council who is visiting Sydney, in which lie favours Pacific Islands co-operation and, as a matter for secondary consideration, the establishment of a Pacific League to preserve peace. He does not think that tne suggested Pncfie Confederation is at present advisable, but it might come later when preliminary matters were settled. Mr Tenant strongly supported the work of the present Administration and declared that, when tho depression temporarily affecting Samoa has passed away New Zealand’s policy will bo seen to be amply justified.
