BOROUGH COUNCILS.
WOOLSTON. The Woolston Borough Council met last evening; present—the Mayor (Mr C. Hill) and Councillors D. M’Rae, J. L. Grant W 11. Blazey, G. T. Owen, T. E. Eadoliff, G. T White, L. Hart,' J. C. Hobson and "h‘ M’Lachlan. ' Accounts amounting to £1622 were passed {or payment. The Electricity Committee reported that three houses had been wired since last meeting, and that orders were in hand to wire fourteen others. A request from the General Labourers’ Union that the council should pay electrical linesmen 2s OJd ah hour and assistant electrical linesmen Is IOJd was referred to the Electricity Committee.
