WEDDING.

DAVIDSON—HARRIS. A pretty wedding was quietly celebrated early this afternoon, when Miss Rita Harris, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Harris, Bristol Street, St Albans, was married to Mr Francis S. Davidson, sou of the late Mr and Mrs S. Davidson, Scotland. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very dainty frock of shell pink taffeta veiled in white georgette, weighted with a heavy silk fringe. The quaint tunic bodice of the pink taffeta wa?j short in front, but ended in a long back panel. The white georgette sleeves were edged with fringe, and fringe also appeared on the loner panels of the skirt, the corsage was a bundi of georgette flowers in pastel shades of blue and pink. Her leghorn hat was lined with pink, and the crown covered with the palest of pink ostrich feathers caught in front by a pink and jade motif. She carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers tied together with pale pink tulle. At the reception held at the residence of the bride’s parents only relatives and intimate men is were present. The house was effectively decorated with pink cherry blossom, japonica and 'antirrhinums. Mrs Harris (mother of the bride) received the guests in a handsome gown of black georgette over'white georgette,. the front panel being of white georgette embroidered in many tiny black beads, with which was worn a. white feather necklet, and a close fitting toque of pink straw, the brim being entirely composed of hydrangea'flowers. Miss E. Harris (sister of the bride) wore a smart coat-frook of cream gabardine, adorned with narrow cream braid in a conventional design, the side panels being edged witjj fringe. Her hat was of black tulle and blade velvet. Amongst the guests wore the bride’s grandfather, Mr Maurice .Harris, and Mrs Harris, the latter wearing a black and white chiffon taffeta frock and nattier blue bat; the Hon and Mrs Douisson, Dr and Mrs Louisson, Miss Mandel. Mrs J. F. Green and Miss Ileene Green. After the reception Mr and Mrs Davidson left for their honeymoon tour, the bride travelling in a modish mittv coloured gabardine costume elaborately stitched with navy /blue chenille, it most becoming hat of navy blue tagel straw trimmed with two putty coloured ostrich feather mounts, and a skunk stole.
