WEDDING.

HALL—HOLLAND. A wedding of considerable interest to Christchurch people took place this afternoon at tho Cambridge Terrace Methodist Church, Chaplain W. Grigg officiating. The bride was Miss Edith Holland, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Holland, Christchurch, and the bridegroom, .Mr Newman Hall, son of Mr and Mrs E. W. Hall, also of Christchurch. The church was decorated by girl friends of the bride, anti made an effective setting for the picturesque frock worn by the bride and her attendants. Miss Maud Stringer was at the organ. Mr Holland gave his daughter awiy. She wore a graceful frock of soft white satin charmeuse with draperies and paniers of white georgette. On the bodice and on the hem of the georgette were embroideries in fine silver thread caught here and there with tiny pale pink roses. The belt was of swathed satin caught at one side with a pale pink rose, and the quaint narrow fish train which fell from the shoulders to the floor was weighted with tassels. Mounted on a narrow brim adorned with small orange blossoms, was a very pale pink embroidered tulle veil, while in tho bridal bouquet there was also a touch of pale pink. Tho bouquet was finished with pink, and white streamers of narrow bebo ribbon. Tho three bridesmaids wore frocks in ) astel shades of pink tnauve and lemon- Miss Flora Holland, the bride’s sister, wore a pale pink chiffon taffetas' frock draped with georgette and embroidered in silver, witn a buff coloured georgette hat trimmed with a trail of vari-colourod French flowers. Miss Flossie Drayton wore a lemon coloured charmeuse frock draped with ninon and embroidered in silver and a black tulle hat trimmed with gold flowers. Miss Elsie Rail wore a mauve chiffon taffetas frock draped in georgette and embroidered in silver, with which was worn a Leghorn hat adorned with coloured flowers and lined- with mauve. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet to match her frock with pink, mauve, and lemon tulle streamers. Mr W. Hal! (brother of the bridegroom) was the best man and Mr Sidney Holland and Mr Charles M’Cully were the groomsmen. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall which had been furnished to represent a drawnte room. There were a large number of guests. The bride is very popular, and the many wishes for her future happiness were most sincere. Airs Holland received the guests, wearing a becoming frock of light navy crepe de. chine relieved with tomato red embroiderv. a black and .white bat, and brown furs; Mrs Hall'-(mother'of the bridegroom) wore a grey costume and hat to match; Mrs S. J- Graham (sister of tho bride) wore a nigger brown costume and grey, hat.
