SELWYN CLUB’S DANCE.
The Selwyn Club held an enjoyable dance in the Masonic Hall, Gloucester Street, last night. In tho dancing ball pretty baskets of spring flowers and greenery depended from the coiling among streamers of yellow and black which were interlaced above the dancers. Yellow streamers were also draped around tho lights, and gave out a pretty glow. A tasty supper was laid m another room, in which tho tables were decorated with sprint flowers. Mr Sullivan’s hand provided the music. The chaperons were Mesdames P. R. Williamson and W. A. B. Morton, and the committee Misses c' Morten J. Meary and G. Hay, and Messrs H. S. Thomson, E. Mahan and A- S. Cooper. Mr H. A. Lock© was honorary secretary.
