IMPORTANT AMENDM EXTS. [From Oitr Correspondent.] > WELLINGTON, August v2. The Financial debate is expected to end dining tho week. The Government then will bo prepared with important policy measures. The licensing question, however, is not yet disposed of in Cabinet. The military pensions schemo is now being considered by Ministers, who will probably decide to increase the pensions for permanent disability, and also make another valuable reform, that of pensions being dopendent tip-.m the degree of disability, with no reference U) earning capacity. This will operate as a direct incentive to maimed soldiers to learn special vocations suitable to their crippled state, as the increased income due to their enterprise will not ptirejudice their pension claim.
