SPAIN'S TROUBLES.
THE SITUATION SERIOUS
DEMANDS FOR REFORM. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association, (Received Julv 25. 12.50 p.m.) TARIS, July 24. The "Petit ParLicn's" Barcelona correspondent states that, the situation is serious. Tho recently dissolved Assembly's manifesto, which is circulated notwithstanding the censorship, declares that the Government's policy is provocntory, and does not satisfy the country's aspirations- The political system demands reorganisation of State and municipal autonomy. The Mayor and Council of Barcelona have resigned. Tho whole of Catalonia is perturbed. Six hundred communes adhere to tho Assembly's programme. Serious troubles have occurred in. Valencia, and several people have been killed.
