SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

SYDENHAM. The regular mooting of the Sydenham School Commitee was held on July 18; pre-sent-Mr K L. Al'Kcon (chairman), Airs Loncv* Messrs T. H. Butierfiold, J. Butterfield," Slater, l.'ooro and Frayle. An application for leave of absence on account of illness was received from Miss Al'liregor, one of ihe ct'Viool staff. .Mr Al'Ouilough. who is leaving the school staff, forwarded a letter of thanks to the committee for the kindly consideration shown liim during his term in the school. The school inspector's report was received and was considered by the committee to be highly satisfactory. The secretary was instructed to write to the head master congratulating him and his staff on the very satisfactory report of the, school received.
