A correspondent at Amsterdam re•ports the Kaiser's spring sermon to his field chaplains, Jn which- ho said:— " We must show a stern front in this time of trial and world war, separating tho corn and the chaff. Wo need practical Christianity. If the Lord walked into this room do you think we could look Him in the face? You must show vis the personality of . the Lord. Who is now assuredly walking through the world, perhaps to judgment.''
