INQUEST.
An inquest was held at the C'il.y Aforguo this niter noon on the- body of William Henry Harris, found in the river Avon at Hereford Street Bridge this morning. Air H. W. Bishop, District Coroner, conducted the. inquiry. Tho polico evidence was that the body was discovered at 8.55 s ii.m., lying face downwards in about eighteen inches of water. It had apparently floated down stream for some distance. Thero were, no marks of violence 011 the bodi - . Evidence of ■identification was given, showing that deceased, who was 64 years of age, lived by himself in a room at No. 15, Tuam Street. He v. 1 as married, but separated from his wife. He did not drink to excess. He. was seen by friends, alive and well, and apparently m his usual spirits, the previous afternoon. A verdict was returned that deceased met his death by drowning, and that there was no evidence to show how he got into the water.
