PUBLIC SERVICE ASSOCIATION. £Pkr .E'hfss WELLINGTON. June 21. The annual conference of the executive council of the New Zealand Public Service Association was opened to-day. Mr Allport, the president, said that if certain reforms to bo considered could ho secured, it would fowl to produce a contented service. The authorities had always been ready to listen to representations from, tho association, and although it had not got all it desired, it would be satisiied to receive full and thoughtful consideration of its requests.
