GREAT CANNONADE ON MUSE. FRENCH DIRIGIBLES BOMB [STATIONS, (Received April 29, 11.4.5 a.m.) The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, April 28 (12.30 p.m.). A French official message says:— On the left bank of the tteuse there is intense artillery activity in the regions of Avocourt, Esncs and Cunueres. On tlio right bonk the enemy threatened two attacks, accompanied by violent bombardments. Tliey were arrested by onr curtain fire. The Germans remained in their trendies. In the region of Rove, west of Pont-a-Mous.son, onr batteries were very active yesterday. An enemy aviator was shot down'in front of Kort Yaux. On the night of April 2G three of our dirigibles dropped large-calibre shells on stations at Ettin, Bcnsdorf and Arnavillo. The same night our aviators dropped thirty-seven shells on the stations in the valley of the Aire, twenty-five on encampments in the valley of the Ome, six shells, and two incendiary bombs on Thionville station and eight shells on Conflans station.
