MR MASSEY ENTERTAINED.

[Per Press Association'.] DUNEDIN, April 21. A large number of people, including many ladies, attended a social gathering to Mr W. F. Massey. in the Art Gallery Hall, last night. The toast of "Our" Guests" was proposed by the Mayor (Mr Burnett), and responded to by Messrs Massey , D. Buick, James Allen, W, Nosworthy, W. Eraser, E. P. Lee, R. Scott, A. S. Malcolm and G. J. Anderson, members of the House of Representatives. The. toast of "Parliament of New Zealand" was proposed by Mr G. Ritchie, president of the Cha'mber of Commerce, and responded to by Messrs G. M. Thomson, M.P., and C. E. Statham, M.P.- Mr Massey and other visiting Members of Parliament will proceed north tomorrow.
