[Per Press Association.] • DUNEDIN, March 22. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Drug Company was held this afternoon, Mr William Brown (chairman of directors) presiding. The annual report stated that the net profit for the year was £19,201 17s, balance brought forward £7127 19s 3d, total £26,32P 16s 3d. An interim dividend absorbed £/578 12s, leaving £18,751 4s 3d to be dealt with. The directors recommended payment of a dividend at 7 per cent per annum for the second hal'f of the past year, £7936 los 7d, writing off Westfield plant (Auckland) £SOO, writing off Wellington fixtures £250, writing off Wellington building £750. placing to general reserve (this reserve, with £3750 to be transferred from share premium account, will then stand at £38,000) £1250, and to carrv forward to nest year £BOO4 8s 8d".
