The Public Works Committee has recommended extending the State brickworks to three times the present size. It is estimated that the extension will result in a saving of £40,000 yearly. . In the Legislative Assembly a new Housing Bill was introduced, conforming with the Legislative Council's suggestions, and passed all its stages.
