£HE TROUBLE AT AUCKLAND. £Psb Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 9. Tho Auckland Wool brokers' Association is opposed to the attitude adopted by the, New Zealand Association in refusing to compromise with the oversea buyers on the cash-on-delivery dispute. Tho Association is;, determined not to allow tho local sale on November 22 to be prejudiced by the absence of oversea buyers. Previously the buyers agreed to the enforcement of tho cash-on-dehvery provision conditionally on tho brokers paying interest between tho time of delivery and prompt payment date, a matter of six or seven •days. _ Tho brokers were prepared, to allow interest for five days oiilv. Tho Auckland Association lias always been prepared to allow full interest, and has written to the_ president of the iNew Zealand Association asking hint to make known to visiting buyers tho Association $ action -and thi'cateniiii>' Recession unless there is an adjustment.
