SUPREME COURT.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 10. Tho appeal of Scott and Martindale Ugaiust their conviction by the Magistrate lor publishing a. notification relating to betting was heard by Mr Justice Chapman to-day. Tho contention for the appellants'was that there was no proof that tliev had posted the betting cards which formed' the subject of the prosecution. Judgment was reserved.
