AGRICULTURAL SHOWS.

MARLBOROUGH. . [Per Press Association.} BLENHEIM, November 6. The entries for the Agricultural and Pastoral Show in Blenheim on November 14 and 15 closed oil Saturday night. The list is well maintained compared with previous records and is above the average. The competitors are 25 per cent better than last year. Horses are well up to the average, the figures being practically the same as last year, and good quality is promised. There is a falling olf in the sneep classes, mainly in purebred, but tho other classes maintain tho standard. There is an increase in fat sheep, and.cattle are equal to last year. Pigs are slightly better. There is a marked increase in farm produce, but in home produce the entries are not so numerous as last year.
