Counterfeit traversed a milo and a half i»t threoquarler speed. Miudam Madcap (bmorson) galloped a .mile in luiiii 44seo, finishing up her task in a tradcsmanliko manner. Domino's task Was two rounds at linlf to threequarter speed. Undecided, with a. light weight up, dashed over six furlongs in lmiu 17i;eo. . Hawick (Coker) and Espartero (O'Connell) together x)ut in a schooling task over six fligiits of hurdles, finishing' together over the last flight. They ran the last onco round in lmin 49 3-6 sec. Goldfinder was out and did steady pacing on the tan. Ho did not appear to move too freely. There was nothing of importance performed on the tracks after breakfast. Nightlight will not be r.n acceptor hp. tho Cup, and owing to Mira having met with nn accident at Trentham by running ti. nail into his foot ho was not brought down with tho romaindor of J. Lewis's team. Whilo riding- Ireland in work this morning a boy named Hutchinson received a fall through a stirrup leather breaking. The accident happened near tho three-furlong post, and the bey having apparently received internal injury was unable to walk. Unfortunately the result of tho mishap was not communicated to the cusiodiß.ii f;r some little time, and tlio dolsy in procuring a- streichor was vexatious. Eventually, however, ijk was produced, and tho injured rider was carried to the Racecourse Hotel, and upon tho ambulance being summoned was conveyed to the Hospital for medical treatment.
