A Sydney cablegram states that Di Hart has purchased the English thoroughbred stallion Cyrus, for (he Brocklesiy stud. The price is not stated. Cyrus was bred in 1903 bv the Messrs Hoolc, and is by Cyllene out of Stream of Gold. Stream of Gold is by St Angelo—Coldstream, by "Wisdom—Quickstream, by Trumpeter. Cyilene is by Bona Vista, out of Arcadia- Cyrus has not had a. brilliant- racing career, having only won two small races a.s a three-year-ola and three as a four-year-old, since when, though a, regular starter up to last s«»-&on, he h*3 failed to catch the judge's eye.
