Mr G. F. Tudor told a deputation of Queensland sugar-growers that the Government intended to continue the bounty and the excise system, but without limitation.
Mr W. M. Hughes, Attorney-General, told a deputation that before April the Government would ask the people by referendum for extended powers to make'laws regarding industrial legislation. ■'
