TROUBLE IN TIBET.
INDIAN GOVERNMENT PREPARING. United Press Association —By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright, (Received July 80, 9.45 a..m.) LONDON, July 29.
The Indian Government has warned two battalions and a mountain battery to be in readiness to advance into Tibet to protect the British trading agonov at Gyangtse.
There has been fighting between the Chines© and the Tibetans for some months past, but very little information is available concerning it. Evidently the British station at Gyangtse, on the road from India to Lassa, is now threatened, indicating that the Chinese troops are making substantial progress with the suppression of the Tibetan rebellion.
