DUNEDIN, March 4. The following telegram, signed by the Hon J. B. Callan, M.L.C., Mr J. Allen, Mr J. F. Arnold and Mr T. K. Sidey, has been forwarded to tho Prime Minister on behalf of the Society for the Health of Women and Children ._:— "We would urge you to pay the £SOO for the Karitano Home before March 31, as the Society fears tho vote lapsing and the money being lost to it, as in 1907. We also urgo that tho £2OO not yet allocated to the branches should be allocated as suggested in the Society's letter of January 31 to the Minister of Public Health."
