A Press Association message from Dunedin states that the Otago and Southland Licensed Victuallers' Association has renewed the engagement of the Rev W. Thomson, as organising secretary, for a term of "Three yead-s. Colonel Bauchop and Captain Richardson arrived, from Wellington by the s.s. Maori this morning. Mr A. Kay e was a passenger from "Wellington this morning by the s.s. Maori. Major Robinson, whose term of engagement as Director of Engineering Services on the staff of the New Zealand Defence Forces has now expired, win leave for England by the Arawa next month. Mr Justice Williams arrived from Wellington by the Maori this morning. The Rev Father Maloney was a passenger from Wellington this morning by the Maori. Mrs Annie Beeant arrived by the Maori from Wellington this morning. Mr Kenneth F. Petrie, before, leaving Rangiora on Monday to reside at Goraldine-, wafi presented by the Church of England choir, of which he was a valued member, with a set of silverbacked military brushes and comb. Tho Rev F. P. Fendall made the presentation, and expressed the very sincere regret felt at Mr Petrie's departure, and thanked him for his services to the church. *
