Papanui Guild defeated Woclston by thirteen points to nil. For the winners S. Kruse scored two tries and potted a good goal. B. Derrett also scored a try.
Melrose defeated Sydenham United by eighteen points to nine. For the winners Bex (three) and Fraser, and for the Lasers Cunrmings (three) fioored tries. Recx converted two and Fraser on© for the winners.. Mr A. Hickey was referee. St Albans defeated North Linwccd; at Richmond Domain by nine points (three tri&s scored bj T Frith, Williams, Morgan) to three (a penalty goal kicked by H. Bell). Mr M'Gee was referee. Addingtorf United defeated Fern by sixteen points to seven. For the winTvens F. Everett (two), Hanna and L. Muir scored tries, two of Muir converted. Mr M'Lean was referee. Avon defeated New Brighton Juniors by twenty-eight points to three. For the ■winners R. G. Hickmott (three), Collins (three), Scott and Blaekmore scored tries, two of them being; converted. Fongere scored for the losers. Trinity defeated; Railway Cadets by six points to three. H. Cox scored a try, and W. Clemens kicked a penalty goal for the winners. Marist Brothers Old Boys journeyed to Sumnor and defeated Sumner Boys' Football Club by three points to nil. W. Dobbs scored for the winners. Rev Brother Walter was referee. Oxford Terrace Baptist defeated. Phillipstown by nineteen points to nil. For the winners Pearson (2), Quinton, Nightingale and. Clothier scored tries, Quinton and Pearson, converting one each. -St John's, Lytteltoh, playing five men short, defeated Efeathcote Old Boys by twelve points to three. Foir the winners, tries were scored by J. Boyd (2), J. Gilmore and W. Matheie. For the losers, R. Roberts scored a try Mi M. Smith was referee. In the primary schools competition Lyttelton District High School defeated Addington at Lyttelton to-day by twenty-three points to nil. For the winners tries were scored by Lemarne (2), M'Gerty (2), Coffey, Reed and Kane. M'Gerty kicked a penalty goal. Mr T. Gillard was referee.
