THE NIMROD.
The conversazione tendered to the members of the Antarctic Expedition by the Canterbury College Board of Governors and the Philosophical Institute will take place in the College Hall this evening. Practically all of the stores and equipment are now 6tored safely in the . Nimrod. A few articles of equipment have still to arrive, and are expected at Wellington within the next few days*. The stalls for the ten ponies that are to be taken south have been erected on the Nimrod's deck. The ten best ponies have been selected, and the others will probably be sold locally.
