ARBITUATION COURT.
SITTING IN CHRISTCHURCH. The Arbitration Court sat in the Provincial Council Chambers this morning. A CASE DISMISSED. F. J. Thompson (Mr Uphain) claimed £100 compensation from Scott Brothers, for the loss of an eye, as a result, it was alleged, of injuries received while in defendants' employ. Dr Stevenson stated that he had removed the eye as a result of inflammation. The complaint was of two years' standing, and had no intimate association with the alleged accident. Mr TTpham said that he had not previously heard the medical evidence, and he would withdraw the case. The Court accordingly dismissed th* case.
