JOVIAL MURDERERS.

Two criminals were condemned to death by the court of Tuebingen for a lnurder and robbery which they had carefully planned (says a Stuttgart telegram of October, 11). On the death sentenoe being passed one of tho ineni calmly drew out his snuff-box and topk a pinch of snuff. When the question was put to the jury whether the prisoner should be recommended to the King's* grace, he remarked that h e did not place the slightest value on his life, and jocularly promised to pay the police sergeant a visit some day, carrying his head under his aim. Oa entering the prison van the men took leave of the public with a hearty " Good-bye, gentlemen ; amuse yourselves."
