Tlie New York correspondent of tbe " Times " states that the Sb Paul Minnesota judgment forbidding the merging of the northern companies, is a great triumph for President Roosevelt and Mr Knox, and that no such blow has been struck at Mr Morgan's power. (The United States Circuit Court appeals to restrain the Northern Securities' Company from acquiring or voting on the Northern Pacific and Great Northern Railway's stock at the latter company's meeting, inasmuch as it was acquired in virtue of a combination in restraint of trade among several States. Tlie decision has. created a sensation on Wall Street. ' iMr Morgan will appeal against it to the Supreme Court.)
