1 [Per Press Association.! PALMERSTON NORTH, May 1. The weather is fine and there is a large- attendsnce on the second day of the Manawatu Racirg Club's Autumn Meeting. The following are the results up to the time of going to preas : — FITZHERBERT HANDICAP, of 60 soys; six furlongs— West Guard, Bat 13lb, 1 ; Faugh-a-Ballagh, Bst 21b, 2; Livonia, 7st 13lb, 3. Shrapnel Shell was scratched. Won by a neck under the whip. Time— Jfclin. 18 l-ssec. Dividends—J22 15a and £2 6s. HACK FLYING- HANDICAP, of 50 eovs; six furlongs^-Somnolent, 7st9lb, 1; Anchorite, 9st 51b, 2; Hard "Work, Bst lOlb, 3. All started. Won by a. head. Time— lmin 20aeo. DiviAonris -PR Iflo antt £\ 9,14
