TEMUKA.
There was a large entry of sheep at the Tflmuka yards yesterday, a fair number of » cattle, and a moderate line of pigs. The attendance of farmers and dealers was large, and competition for the best lines of sheep was fairly good. Cattle were practically unsaleable, dry cows realising, in one instance, only 12s, and two-year-olds 255. Pigs sold well. The following are prices realised : — Sheep— Fat ewes 5s lOd, Gs 2d and 6s lOd, two-tooth maiden ewes 9s 3d, two-tooth wethers 7s lOd to 10s 9d, four-tooth three-quarter-bred ewes 6s Bd, three-quarter-bred lambs 3s 7d, 7s 4d, 7s lid, 8s 5d and 9s. Pigs— Stores 7s to 16s, larger sorts 19s, sows 255. Cattle — Nominal values.
