LOCAL COMPETITIONS.
The weather on Saturday was bleak and cold, and consequently not favourable for the continuation of the various competitions, while the wickets provided were soft. The final round of the Senior Cup matches was proceeded with, and at present the Midland Eleven has run up a large score against the Sydenham and Addington Thirteen; the United Thirteen has a decided advantage against the Lancaster Park Thirteen; while the game between the United Eleven and the Lancaster Park Eleven is in a very even state.
