A letter was received from the Government of Queensland regretting thai its efforts to secure representation at th( Convention were futile. Sir J. Abboi reiterated tho charges ho made at Sydnej of insincerity on the part of Queensland Mr Walker, as an old Queenslander, tool it upon himself to defend Sir Hugl Nelson, the Premier, as an honourabh man.
