The shipping firm of Houlder Bros, and Company, owners of the Grange line of steamers has been converted into a limited liability company, with a capital of £200,0C0, half in cumulative preference shares, and half in ordinary shares. The Company is issuing two-thirds of the amount of the capital in preference shares, and also debentures to the extent of £125,000. The purchase price is £25,000, the vendors taking all the ordinary shares, and one-third of the preference shares, with the balance in cash. Received Jan. 29, 11.10 a.m. RUSSIA AND TURKEY.
