The annual meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Canterbury, E.C, was held at the Masonic Hall last evening, when the acting D.G.M., W. Bro R.D.Thomas, presided. Kilworth, P.M. ; Bro Alfred Gee, tyler. The District Grand Stewards' Lodge of Canterbury, No. 2627, E.C, held their quarterly meeting at the St A-igustine Masonic Hall last evening. The acting D.G.M., W. Bro E. D. Thomas, and his officers atten ded for the purpose of presenting the W.M. (Bro Professor Clarke) with ■the ' -wai'rant recently received from the Grand Lodge of England. There was a largo attendance of brethren to congratulate the Master on the occasion.
