FREEMASONRY.

The annual meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Canterbury, E.C, was held at the Masonic Hall last evening, when the acting D.G.M., W. Bro R.D.Thomas, presided. The acting D.G.M., W. Bro E. D. Thomas, and his officers atten ded for the purpose of presenting the W.M. (Bro Professor Clarke) with ■the ' -wai'rant recently received from the Grand Lodge of England. There was a largo attendance of brethren to congratulate the Master on the occasion.
