SEFTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

The ordination of the Rev R. M'Cully, and his induction to the charge of the Sefton Presbyterian Churcr., took place 3 esterday afternoon in the presence of a crowded congregation. The members of Presbytery present were tho Revs Gordon Webster, W. Scorgie, W. Gow, A. H. Treadwell, R. S. Allan and J. Dixon, of Temuka; also, Mr Anderson, elder, of Christchurch. The Rev Mr Allan preached the sermon, and the Rev A. H. Troadwell presided and ordained with the usual ceremony. Afterwards the induction took place, the Rev W. Scorgie addressing the newly inducted minister, and the Rev W. Gow the congregation. Tho addresses were highly appropriate, and were much appreciated. In the evening there was a tea meeting in the public hall, and the attendance was a large one. Addresses were given by tho Revs Dixon, Scorgie, Allan, P. R. Monro and Gow.
