At the conclusion of the first day's play St Albans had scored 102, and the Park 14 for the loss of a wicket. The Park continued batting and totalled 103, Orchard 2(6, Smith 15, Mahar 12 and Washer Jl being the chief scorers. J. Colville three for five and A. Smith six. for 30 bowled well. St Albana in their second venture only scored 30. Bates and Smith bowled well, and the fielding was good. The Park requiring 30 to win, obtained these for the loss of three wickets, Smith 16 beinsr highest ; scorer. J. Colville one for 4 and E. Smith two for 15 were most successful with the. ball.
