CARACAS, Nov. 28.
The Governors of the various provinces in Venezuela haye assured General Crespo, the President, that 100,000 troops are available in the event of war over the British Guiana question.
St Mabt's Catholic Club.— The club's usual weekly meeting was held on Monday evening, the President in the chair. The programme waa "Original Essays," and somo interesting papers were read.
New Zealand Shipping Company.— The twenty-second ordinary general meeting of the New Zealand Shipping Company will be held at the company's offices, Hereford Street, at noon, on Tuesday next.
St Mart's Home. — Nest week is the •' pounds and yards week " in aid of Sb Mary's Home. Contributions in money or kind may be sent to the home or to Deaconess F. Torlesss, at 233, Gloucester Street.
