[Fkb Pbbss Association.] DUNEDIN, Augusi zB. A Methodist Union Convention waa held in the Trinity Wesleyan Church this evening. The church was crowded to excess. The Bey W. Beady, President of the Bible Christian Conference in New Zealand, presided. The tone of the speakers was one of pleasure at anion. A great revival was expeoted after the consummation of union, and a hope was expressed that tbe Primitive Methodists would soon join. Ministers were present from the Presbyterians. The cook of the schooner Orpheus fell over the wharf to-night and, striking the bulwarks, rebounded into the water. He was rescued after some trouble by the deck hands and assistance procured. He received a nasty wound on the head.
