THE. LIST OF CHARGES.
Inspector Pender has taken with him informations, with the depositions of witnesses, in eight charges which are to be preferred against Mr L. Harper. The following is the list of informations : — Re the estate of the late William SAiles. — Information under Section 79 of the Larceny. Act, on a charge of having appropriated to his own use .£1751, of which accused was a trustee for the benefit of the children of the late William Miles, of Springeton. ' . Re H. H. Gillett.— lnformation under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having fraudulently converted £5000, entrusted for investment by the Rev H. H. Gillett, England.
Be William Hotham. — Information under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having misappropriated £3000, entrusted for investment by William Hotham, England.
Re Mary Louisa Webber.— lnformation under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having fraudulently misappropriated .£750, en traated for investment by Mary Louisa Webber, England. Re W. N. Barnes.— lnformation under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having fraudulently misappropriated £1000, entrusted for investment by the Eev W. .N. Barnes, England.
Be T. A. Hope.— lnformation under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having fraudulently misappropriated .£250, part of moneys entrusted for investment by T. A. Hope, England.
Be F. Passmore. — Information under Section 74 of the Larceny Act, of having fraudulently misappropriated £1000 entrusted for investment by F. Passmore, England..
Re J. H. Eobin.— lnformation of having fraudulently misappropriated .£ISOO entrusted for safe custody by J. B. Robin, England. -
It was on the information in Bpbin's case that the provisional warrant was issued under which the accused was arrested.
