The Premier mentioned this morning that there would be a very large numbor of local bodies extinguished by the pro* poßed Local Government Bill, in order to save overlapping and excessive administrative cost. .
Charles Waters, the keeper of an oyster saloon, has been arrested on a charge of bigamy, alleged to have been committed in London in 1890.
