Departure of a Rowing Man.
[Pee Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 30. Mr A. G. Hume, a prominent member of the Star Boating 01 ob, who won the Pearce sculls at the Wellington regatta, and rowed second in the Double Sculling Championship at Picton, has joined the engineering department of tbe s.s. Aorangi, and left in her yesterday with the intention of completing bis engineering apprenticeship in England.
