Thursday, June 29. (Before C. A. Wray, Esq., R.M.) BoaouaH Br-iAws. — John Campbell, for allowing a horse to wander at large, was fined 5s and costs. Civil Cases.— Judgment waß given for plaintiffs by default in the caseß of 8. W. Alcorn v. George Harris, claim .£l l2a 6d ; Sargood, Son and Ewen v. J. D. Flanaghan, £H 16s 7d ; William Sparrow v. J. C Lane. £6. An Ab icondee. — C. J. Presß was charged with absconding from his lawful employer; also with the larceny of a blanket. The Sergeant of Police explained that the boy had been licensed out from Barnham, and had twice left his employer. The Magistrate, after hearing the boy's statement, ordered that he Bhould be sent back to Burnham, and pay the costs of the case out of his earnings.
