■■ ' ♦ A meeting of the Sydenham Borough Council was held last night ; preßent—The Mayor (Mr Jacques) and Councillors Forrester, Brown, Booth, Winny, Had- < field, Samuels, Muffet, Lanrdown and Smith. BEFOBTS. The Works Committee recommended that the tender of S. P. Andrews for tbe supply of 500 to 800 yards of broken metal at 43 8d per cubic yard be accepted, and that tenders for tbe supply of horse teams be invited. The Finance Committee reported that the receipts were £147 13s 6d and payments £92 6s 7d. The balances of accounts were: — Separate trust account, credit £103 4s Id ; interest account, £537 14j 6d ; loan account, £5452 8s 9d ; general account, .£196 la Sd ; total, .£6289 9a. The reports were received and adopted.
