Masterton Licensing Election.
[Per Peess Association.] MASTERTON, Mat 29. The Licensing Committee election resulted in the return of four prohibitionists -and one moderate. The poll was declared Amidst great excitement. The five prohibitionists polled 141, 127, 125, 119 and 113, whilst the moderates polled 123, 117, 115 104, and 93 respectively. It is expected that most of the hotels in the town will be closed.
