CANTERBURY AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.

* Saturday's Cross-Country Race.

At a Committee meeting of the above Club, held at Warner's Hotel last night, the foUowing new members were elected : — Messrs J. Studholme, A. G. Cox, G. Shaw, H. Matson, J. Burney, and R. Harley. The cross-country race to be held on Saturday next closed with 59 entries, which was considered satisfactory. The officials for the race were appointed as follows : — Judges, Messrs C. C. Corfe, R. J. S. Harman, T. D. Cbndell, and P. Wilding; Starter, Mr H. V. Anson; Stewards, Messrs P. A. Laurie, E. R. Webb, J. F. Grierson, E. M. Boulton, L. O. Tripp, and L. A. Cuff.
