DROWNED.
GOLD SHIPMENT.
GREYMOTJTH, July 31. William Lawn, the infant child of Thomas Lawn, was accidentally drowned this morning by falling down a watercloset at Mb father's residence. He was quite dead when recovered. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
The Mawhera takes 59750z of gold for transhipment at Wellington. The weather iB quite mild and springlike.
