The Ketch Kestrel.

ANXIETY FELT. Orttt aaxiety is felt in Fort for the safety of the ketch Kestrel, belonicingr to and sailed by W. Matthews, of this port. She is twenty days oat to-day for New Plymouth, but, considering the amount of northerly weather we have had during that time, it is just possible she is Bafely at anchor in some of the buys on the const. A report was circulated in Lyttelton to the effect that the steamer Penguin, which arrived from Wellington, had seen a vessel, about the frize of the Kestrel, bottom-up. Upon enqniry, however, it w»b found to be utterly untrue.
