NEW ZEALAND LOANS. A FIJIAN COMMISSION. SALMON OVA. WELLINGTON Mabch 22. The Union Bowing Club'B crew leave for Lyttelton in the Bingarooma this afternoon. The explanation of the letter to the Times, written by the Agent-General, is as follows : — The Colonial Treasurer cabled to him: "If we borrow thiß year, the loan will not exceed a million and a half, including the trunk loan." Doubtless it wat thiß the Agent-General communicated to the Times. Government are about sending two representatives to Fiji to disrusß BOine very important questions concerning which they desire to lay a report before Parliament during the coming session. The communication will be of a confidential nature until Parliament meets, but it is believed that it will concern the commercial relations of the islands. The delegates are Mr Moss, M.H.8., and Mr Seed, Secretary of Customs. The southern portion of the salmon ova, ex lonic, was Bent South in the Stella this morning. Mr Larnach left for the South this 1 morning.
