At the instance of the Hon Mr Gillies, Premier of Victoria, the Grorernments of all the Australasian 1 Colonies have telegraphed to their ! respective Agents-General, requesting them to take joint action urging the Imperial Government to prevent th& annexation of the New Hebrides by France. HOBIBT, Mahch 22. The typhoid fever patients hay* been landed from H.MS. Diamond, and are now progressing favourably towards convalescence. The vessel has been released from quarantine.
